A fun and engaging away day filled with insightful presentations, team games, great conversations, and shared moments that brought us closer together.
Last month, the Mason Advisory team came together for our annual company away day — a chance to reflect, reconnect, and celebrate the year so far.
With perfect spring weather and a stunning venue featuring outdoor seating and an open-air dance floor, the day brought colleagues together for a mix of insightful sessions, team activities, and well-earned fun.
Our CEO, Paul Pugh, extended his thanks to everyone for their participation and energy throughout the day, and for giving our guest from Logicalis such a warm welcome. He also shared his appreciation for the organisers who made the event such a success.
Highlights from the day:
Mason Advisory Academy (MA Academy)
Our analyst team (Cohort 1 and 2) took centre stage to present the MA Academy — a programme designed to bring in fresh talent and diverse perspectives to help us meet evolving client needs.
As well as introducing our new Cohort 3 — Alfie Biggins, Connor Styles, James Hughes, and Sam Hurd — the team shared how analysts are already delivering value across a range of client engagements.
They also hosted an interactive Kahoot! quiz to test just how well our colleagues know their Academy members, sparking plenty of laughs, buzzer-pressing drama, and team spirit.
Interactive stocks & shares game
The afternoon featured a high-energy Stocks & Shares simulation, where teams battled it out in a fast-paced trading challenge filled with strategy, bold moves, and a touch of mischief.
Congratulations to the winning team, Pigs Might Fly Investments — Adam Todd, Allan Jackson, Adam Hodgkins, John Ellis, Ash Govind, Abhijeet Parge, and Yogesh Sawarkar — for trading their way to the top. 📈
Once again we’d like to thank everyone who helped make the day a success – it was a fantastic celebration of our people, culture, and collaboration.
