Spanning two years, the programme offers a unique platform for participants to uncover new skills and strengths, preparing them for their future careers. Participants will have the opportunity to learn from our industry experts, collaborating closely whilst gaining invaluable experience.

Why join our Academy program?

In addition to advising businesses on IT transformation, we extend our expertise to encompass guidance on business operating models, network architecture, cyber security, and more.

The Academy is meticulously designed to provide comprehensive insights into our business operations, the role of a Consultant, and the consulting industry at large. You’ll gain first-hand knowledge from our industry experts, learning about their career journeys and how you can carve out your own path to success.

In your first few weeks you will learn:

  • project management fundamentals;
  • key behaviours and soft skills essential for consulting roles;
  • practical consulting tools.

Throughout the two-year programme you will:

  • be supported by our Academy mentor and pastoral team;
  • collaborate with and learn from our project teams and industry experts;
  • gain professional qualifications including Prince II and ITIL;
  • embark on an 18-month Associate Level Chartered Management Consultant accreditation (Associate ChMC).

Application process

  • Submit a ‘simple CV’: We request that you apply by submitting a CV with only simple information. Please note – applications that do not follow the format described below will not be considered, therefore do not be tempted to add extra information!

CVs should include:

  • Periods of education and periods of employment, plus course titles, locations, and role titles and locations.
  • Each period of education and employment should be described in just 3 words.
  • For example:
    • Education / Employment: Bootmakers Limited, Manchester
    • Dates: 06.2023 to present
    • Role title: Bootmaker
    • Job Role: Making-boots, Customer-service, Taking-orders.

CV applications must follow the guidance above, any CVs not following the specific guidance will not be considered.

Next steps (if suitable)

  • Invited to online application testing: If you are suitable, you will be invited to take part in our online testing. This takes around one hour to complete, but we’re not timing you! You’ll hear back from us within approx. two working days.
  • Online Microsoft Teams meeting: After completing our online application testing you may be invited to attend a 15-minute Teams meeting. Here we will talk to you about your previous work, education, and the reasons why you’d like to join our Academy.
  • Face to face interview: If you’re lucky enough to make it this far you’ll be invited to a face-to-face interview at our offices in Manchester. The interview will take approximately one hour, and you will be given the questions in advance of the interview, so you can prepare.
