CCW 2025 - Nick Smye moderating a panel session on IoT connectivity in critical environments

Date:

May 2025

Serving the sector for more than 20 years, Critical Communications World (CCW) unites mission-critical and business-critical end-users with manufacturers and suppliers for three days of inspiration, knowledge and connections.

Our colleague Nick Smye, will be chairing a panel session at CCW (Critical Communications World) 2025. The panel session title: IoT Connectivity in Critical Environments Panel – Working Together with All Industry Players – Network Providers, Industry, End-Users & Vertical Sectors for a Safer, More Connected.

IoT Connectivity in Critical Environments Panel Discussion

IoT technology is now being used in many areas outside of its original use case as a high volume, low cost and, above all, best efforts service. This panel session will explore some of the most demanding applications being used or considered to be used with IoT technology. This will include IoT automotive applications (and associated 5G standardisation) as well as enterprise applications, 4G/5G vendor support and electricity utility applications. This will be a fascinating session that explores how IoT technology is being used for some of the most critical environments.

If you’re attending Critical Communications World 2025, don’t miss the chance to join the discussion on how IoT connectivity is transforming mission-critical environments. The panel, “IoT Connectivity in Critical Environments – Working Together with All Industry Players”, promises valuable insights from network providers, industry leaders, end-users, and vertical sectors on how collaboration can drive safer, more connected systems. It’s a great opportunity to hear from our own Nick Smye, who will be moderating the session and sharing his expertise in critical communications.
