Stepping forward to support MYL’s Stepping Stones Appeal — one step, one donation at a time.
On Sunday 10th August, 17 of our Mason Advisory colleagues — joined by family, friends, and a few four-legged companions — completed a guided group hike through the beautiful Snowdonia National Park with the support of Abigail’s Trails.
What started as a team wellbeing initiative became something much more meaningful: raising funds for our sponsored charity, Manchester Young Lives (MYL), through their Stepping Stones Appeal.
After the climb, we were treated to a well-deserved Sunday dinner, some sore feet (with a few blisters!), and a couple of very sleepy dogs. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the experience and the chance to make a difference together.
We’re delighted to share that we smashed our fundraising target — raising £1,170 against our goal of £1,000!
All funds will go towards refurbishing the playground at The Addy, MYL’s busiest youth centre, which supports over 900 children each year. For many young people, especially those facing difficult circumstances at home, The Addy is more than a playground — it’s a safe haven, providing stability, support, and even a hot meal.
A huge thank you to everyone who donated and supported us. Together, we’ve made a real difference.
